Our company, englishbiz, is currently seeking qualified teachers to work with us and to help our schools grow.

Suitable applicants are either qualified experienced teachers, or recent graduates of Education programs, holding university degrees in Education, English, or related fields of study. Applicants speak English fluently, have neutral accents, and are aware and sensitive to the cultural background of the students they will teach and guide. Suitable applicants are presentable and take care in their personal appearance, are articulate, have a sense of humor, are flexible and smart, and while knowing a lot about the work of teaching and education, are also able to listen and learn as well. Suitable applicants are passionate about teaching, love the classroom environment, are curious and creative in making their classrooms places of learning, and are empathetic to the struggle our students have in English. Suitable applicants know about our company and our style and approach to English education. Suitable applicants are either teachers in their own right, or people who have made the decision that this is the only kind of work they want to do.

この言葉は、創業時とある体験から始まりました。創業当初、他校で何年も英会話スクールに通っていた子供が、englishbizに入塾してきた時のこと。その男の子は、チャイムが鳴っても座ることもしないで、教室内を走り回っていました。注意すると、「英語はゲームするだけでしょ？今から遊ぶんでしょ？」そしてその子にアルファベットを示し、「A」の文字を見せても、「わからん！しらん！」と叫び、また走り始めました。

これが現在のenglishbizが英語教育にこだわる原点です。
こんな英会話を子供に提供してはいけない。間違った英語教育を経験させてはいけない。子供の学習意欲を台無しにしてはいけない。子供を思う保護者の愛情、お金、そして時間を無駄にしてはいけない。こうしてenglishbizは現在のように、「英語教育」にこだわるようになったのです。
